Calculate Your 5.0 Airbnb Rating
The Airbnb rating system allows guests to rate properties based on a 5 star system, 1 star being the lowest ranking and 5 stars being the highest. A perfect 5.0 ranking is obviously ideal, but any property with a 4.85 or above is sure to be a great place to stay. Of course, circumstances sometimes arise that prevent even the best of host/property duos from earning that coveted 5 star rating. Maybe there was a beyond-your-control maintenance issue, weather event or even something in the personal life of a guest that made them choose to leave a review with less than 5 stars.
While its certainly not possible mathematically to pull an average completely back up to a perfect score once a lower number enters the equation, Airbnb displays any average rating of 4.995 or higher as a 5.0 on your listing so it is possible to achieve even after a 4 star or two.
If you’re wondering how many more 5 star reviews you need to earn to get back up to that perfect five-point-oh, (or curious about how far down a bad review would bring your rating,) check out our calculator below. Just put in your current number of each rating reviews and click “calculate” to find out the target number you need!
