Bethany On The Road…on YouTube
Last spring break our family decided to go on a cruise with another family. Unlike a traditional hotel where you book a certain room type, when you book a cruise you can pick the exact cabin you get. It’s definitely appealing to know the specific room you’ll be staying in, but there are also so many options and cruise ships are huge so it can quickly get overwhelming.
My husband and I like to research things and as we were pouring over ship maps and reviews, he decided to take a shot in the dark and see if anyone had posted any videos on YouTube of cabins from this particular ship so we could get a better feel for it than traditional pictures could. Turns out, there were a few videos and we were able to narrow our floor and room type down a bit further based on the footage we found.
And then I got an idea. Not that I exactly needed another side-quest in life, but I travel a-LOT and I absolutely love hotels, short term rentals, etc. So I created “Bethany On The Road” - a YouTube channel dedicated to hotel room tours, short term rental tours and videos featuring attractions I’ve checked out in various places. I’m definitely a better short-term-rental host than I am a travel YouTuber, but I’ve really enjoyed putting these videos together and hope that you’ll enjoy them too! I have everything from water-slides and mountain-coasters to fancy hotel rooms in Canada and budget hotel rooms in TN. And of course short term rentals!
